| Since June 2007, The Ayr Tartan Army has been at the forefront of charity events that has raised our profile though out Scotland and helped raise money and awareness for the Charities we support. | |||||||||

| To date we have donated over £1300 to CLIC Sargent. This was for a 72 hole golf challenge by Ian Thomson & Alan Findlay and the boxing day, dip with a nip ! | |||||||||

| In November 2007, 17 members of the Ayr TA walked from Somerset Park to Hampden for the Italy game. The walkers left Ayr at 2am and walked the 34 miles to Glasgow to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and in the memory of the late great Ally MacLeod. Over £22,000 was raised | |||||||||
| There is already plans in the pipeline for another BIG charity event in 2009/10 but this is being kept under wraps for the moment.... but here is a clue | |||||||||
