The next fundraising event has been announced and
it's the biggest yet. |

On the 17th Nov. The Ayr Tartan army will walk from
Somerset Park to Hampden in aid of Alzheimer's and
in memory of Ally MacLeod. Ally gave the town of Ayr
so much over the years. His teams are still talked
about to this day, as they were packed with class
players and played the MacLeod way, Attacking and
with flair. |

As Scotland manager, who can forget the send
of the national team got in '78 prior to leaving for
Argentina, or the Wembley turf being ripped up
by Jubilant Scots fans. He was without doubt a great
man and a legend. |

|
On the 17th Nov, the walk will cover approx 34
miles. We will be leaving Ayr United's ground at
approx 4am to get to Hampden in time for kick off. |
